Event to Benefit Royal Columbian

Event to benefit Royal Columbian as a way to give back to hospital that cared for premature triplets

A Ladner family is organizing a walk-a-thon tomorrow to benefit the Royal Columbian Hospital's neonatal intensive care unit.

The Christmas 5-km Walk-a-thon takes place at the Neilson Grove Elementary school field, 5500 Admiral Blvd.
The walk starts at 10: 30 a.m. while registration goes from 9: 15 to 10: 15 a.m.

Come Out and Give Sledge Hockey a TRY!

    

BC Hockey in conjunction with Sportability is proud to offer a “try it” event for Sledge Hockey this October

WHEN:       On October 20, 2012 at 5:00pm
WHERE:     The Surrey Sport and Leisure Centre.

This one day event is designed for people of all ages and abilities. Several current sledge players/coaches will run some drills and outline their experience with the game. Spots are limited and will be offered on a first come, first serve basis.

Sledge Hockey

Now that the Paralympics are finished for now,  I'm switching gears and turning to my next favorite sport SLEDGE HOCKEY.

We practise every Wednesday night (7-8pm) and Saturday afternoons (12-2pm) at the Surrey Sports and Leisure Centre in Surrey.

Come out and cheer us on or just come out and see what Sledge Hockey is all about!
