SURREY CHILD DEVELOPEMENT CENTER'S GALA OF HOPE Evening of Diamonds

The Surrey Child Development Centre's Annual Gala of Hope - Evening of Diamonds was held at Northview Golf & Country Club in Surrey Saturday November 2nd.

I was given the opportunity to be one of the guest speakers at the Gala as I am a past 'Graduated' client from the center. I received physio from a number of the physiotherapist at the Centre over a period of 7 years. This is where my Athletic career all started! A big special Thank You goes out to Frannie Cruz because she was the person who got me involved with the Centre's Track & Field Team as a sprinted and eventually introduced me to my coach James Hustvedt and wheelchair racing.






I was glad I had an opportunity to Thank my coach James for everything he has done for me over the past 7 years.

RCH is the only hospital in BC that can provide the highest level of trauma, neurosciences, cardiac, mental health, high-risk maternity and neonatal intensive care all on one site.

My twin brother Brenndon and I were two of those babies in the Neonatal intensive care and my family and I will forever be grateful to all the wonderful Doctors and nurses who work there!

IPC World Championships in Lyon, France

I participated in the 2013 IPC World Championships and came 5th in the T34 Men’s 200m semi-final with a time of 31.42

and 4th in the T34 Men’s 100m semi-final with a time of 17.13.

LYON, FRANCE Here I come!!!

It's official I have made the Canadian Team and will be representing Canada at the IPC Athletics World Championships in Lyon France next month!!!

Approximately 1,300 athletes from 90 countries are expected to attend Lyon 2013.  This is the biggest event since the London 2012 Paralympics.

The events will be streaming live on IPC’s YouTube channel ParalympicSport.TV.

34th Annual Langley Pacific Invitational Championships - Saturday June 15th & 16th

 

The track is at McLeod Athletic Park, (216th Street and 56thAvenue) in Langley

Right beside the Langley airport.

Sunday June 16th - 100 meter 2:40pm
Sunday June 16th - 400 meter 3:20pm

All my times will help me get closer to the World Championships
next month in Lyon France!
