2014 BCIT Business Management GRADUATION!

 Today I graduated from BCIT with my Business Management Diploma!

SWISS NATIONALS - Nottwil, Switzerland May 16th -18th, 2014 and DANIELA JUTZELER Memorial - May 21st, 2014

* 200 meter race on Friday May 16th
* 100 meter race on Saturday May 17th
* 400 meter race on Sunday May 18th 

Then the Daniela Jutzeler Memorial

*100 meter and 200 meter race on Wednesday May 21st

200 Meter race May 10th, 2014 Arizona Desert Challenge

200m time was 31.24 which was my seasons best last year!

100m time was 16.78 but the wind was illegal at 2.2. Very close to my personal best of 16.77. 

I would call this weekend a success. It's a great start to the season!

Arizona Desert Challenge Games May 9th-11th, 2014

I'll be participating this weekend in the Desert Challenge Games in Mesa, Arizona! I'll be pushing in the 100m and 200m events.

The Desert Challenge Games are a multi-day competition for individuals ages 7 through adulthood with a physical disability.  The 2014 event will be part of the IPC Athletics Grand Prix and is the only Athletics Grand Prix event taking place in the United States.
Events:

• Athletics International Classification for Physical and Visual Impairment
• National Classification for Athletics, Archery and Swimming
• Track & Field - this track is FAST!
• Swimming
• Archery

Thanks again to everyone who came out and supported me at the Pg Performance's BBQ Fundraiser last Saturday!

It was a great success and all the guys at PG did an awesome job!!

FUNDRAISER FOR NATHAN DEWITT Saturday April 26th - THE ROAD TO RIO 2016!

PG Performance is hosting a BBQ fundraiser event for one of their valued customers Nathan Dewitt. Nathan competed in the 2012 Paralympic games in London and finished top 8 in the 100m and top 10 in the 200m wheelchair sprint. He is now hopeful to compete in the 2016 Rio Paralympic games, but needs financial support to complete his goals. The PG team would like to do what we can to help him reach his goals. We feel that a BBQ would be a fun way to raise some money. The event will be held at PG Performance 10845 148 St, Surrey (604) 585-8558 on Saturday April 26th, starting at noon. We also encourage you to bring your car for a show and shine!

SURREY CHILD DEVELOPEMENT CENTER'S GALA OF HOPE Evening of Diamonds

The Surrey Child Development Centre's Annual Gala of Hope - Evening of Diamonds was held at Northview Golf & Country Club in Surrey Saturday November 2nd.

I was given the opportunity to be one of the guest speakers at the Gala as I am a past 'Graduated' client from the center. I received physio from a number of the physiotherapist at the Centre over a period of 7 years. This is where my Athletic career all started! A big special Thank You goes out to Frannie Cruz because she was the person who got me involved with the Centre's Track & Field Team as a sprinted and eventually introduced me to my coach James Hustvedt and wheelchair racing.






I was glad I had an opportunity to Thank my coach James for everything he has done for me over the past 7 years.
