IPC 2013 World Championships Lyon, France

 

I participated in the 2013 IPC World Championships and came 5th in the T34 Men’s 200m semi-final with a time of 31.42

and 4th in the T34 Men’s 100m semi-final with a time of 17.13.

LYON, FRANCE Here I come!!!

It's official I have made the Canadian Team and will be representing Canada at the IPC Athletics World Championships in Lyon France next month!!!

Approximately 1,300 athletes from 90 countries are expected to attend Lyon 2013.  This is the biggest event since the London 2012 Paralympics.

The events will be streaming live on IPC’s YouTube channel ParalympicSport.TV.

Friday June 21st
12:55pm 400m Men Para Wheelchair Semi-Finals

Saturday June 22nd
1:40pm 200m Men Para Wheelchair Semi-Finals
 7:20pm 200m Men Para Wheelchair FINAL

If all goes according to plan from here it's off to The World Championships in Lyon, France!!

 

 

34th Annual Langley Pacific Invitational Championships - Saturday June 15th & 16th

 

The track is at McLeod Athletic Park, (216th Street and 56thAvenue) in Langley

Right beside the Langley airport.

My Events Schedule:

 

Saturday June 15th  - 200 meter 12:15pm
Sunday June 16th - 100 meter 2:40pm
Sunday June 16th - 400 meter 3:20pm

All my times will help me get closer to the World Championships

2013 Swiss Nationals  - Switzerland

Race Day 2 is completed with a 200m time of 32.47...with the track meet finished I am all warmed up to improve my times at the meet on Thursday!

Race Day 1 complete with a 400m Personal Best time of 1:02.20 and a decent 100m time of 16.90

FIRST MEET OF THE SEASON! DOGWOOD TRACK MEET Victoria May 11th & 12th

First Track meet of the season was held at the Dogwood Track in Victoria this past weekend.

I pushed in the 100 meter and had a Personal Best time of 16.77 and a Standard time for the Worlds in France this coming July!

For my 400 meter race I also had a Personal Best time of 103.32!

Next big Sanctioned meet will be held in Pratteln, Switzerland May 25th-30th.

I'll be racing the 100m, 200m and the 400m and looking forward to getting my Standard times for the Worlds in July!
